The tree grows well in areas which consist of stiff fertile loam mostly grown in acidic and basic alkaline soil and favours a warmer climate. The tree bears its seed when it attains 25 years. Around spring time, the tree bears the flowers but the seed takes at least two summers to ripen. The seed of the tree needs be stored in moist conditions otherwise it tends to lose its viability and these need to be protected from mice and squirrels. The tree also needs to be protected from colder climates otherwise its woods fail to ripen. These plants produce a taproot and thus needs to be immediately transplanted otherwise the growth of this tree would be hindered. It is highly adaptable to coarse, medium and fine textured soil. It has a medium tolerance of CaCO3 and its drought tolerance is high but it has a low fire resistance. The Ph minimum content needed for this tree is a minimum of 4.80 and it could also proceed to a maximum of 7.00.The minimum precipitation of this tree is 35 and a maximum of 50. The root depth of this tree is around a minimum of 36 inches. Its reproduction period is during the springtime and the fruit season of this plant begins from summer and exists till winter. The reproduction of this plant is propagated by its bare roots and by the seed but is not propagated by the bulb. The seed spread rate of this tree is quite slow. The tree does not act as a Christmas tree product or as a Nursery Stock Product.
