Cultivation of the swamp white oak

The growth duration of this tree is perennial and the active growth period of this tree is during spring and summer. The tree grows well in areas which consist of stiff fertile loam soil conditions basically grown in acidic and alkaline soil conditions and favours warmer climate. Around the spring, the tree bears the flowers but the seeds of this tree take at least two summers to ripen. The seed of this tree needs to be stored in moist soil conditions otherwise it tends to lose its viability and these seeds need to be protected from mice and squirrels. The tree also needs to be protected from colder climates. These plants produce a taproot and thus needs to be immediately be transplanted otherwise the growth of this plant would be hindered. The tree is adaptable to Coarse, Fine, and Medium textured soils and has a low CaCO3 content. It is not drought resistant but is fire resistant. The minimum PH content needed for this plant is 4.30 and it could proceed up to a maximum of 6.50. The minimum perception required for this tree is 36 and a maximum of 48. The root depth of this plant is 40 inches. The reproduction period of this plant begins during early spring and the seed bearing period for this plant exist from summer to the end of fall. The reproduction of this plant is propagated by its bare roots and by the seeds and not propagated by its bulb.

The tree does not act as a Christmas tree product but does act as a Nursery stock product.
